Unintentional Seeds for Intention

She was very very restless. She was the cynosure of all their eyes.. that was until recently. No she manages to get glances that quickly shift. What used to long period of "talking" seems to have reduced to few minutes or seconds of "Hi'ing" or "Bye'ing"...
She looked around her, wondering What has she done to be adamaned?
What her faults were?
Lost in thoughts, she suddenly remembered that her bangles were not matching her Silk Skirt ( Pattu Pavadai)
She runs into the Drawing room, shouting,"Ammmaaa.....I want Vera (different) color Valayal (Bangles)"... only to find her mom trying to put on a pair of black and gold bangles into the hands of the cute little new born. The whole family was looking on ...and to her it seemed her presence was never felt.

A simple incident of sowing seeds of sibling rivalry... Gosh .. scares me ! How many such Unintentional actions could have triggered grudge and hatred in others!!

I happen to know of a case where a marriage ran into troubled waters because the man happened to mention that he liked how a particular actress danced in a certain movie.

Elephants can crush you, and you can recover. But the bite of a mosquito can prove more fatal at times!

I don't know what triggered you to write this piece. But this so captures your heart so beautifully. you can imagine the hurt feelings of the little girl and also, the unintentional or unawareness of the mother and others.

@ Suchitra
I liked the elephant-mosquito quote very much. really true....

It felt as if I was in the scene. With two sisters it is sharp I think. With brother, I had an open fight, only to end with him having it all.

Waiting for more interesting pieces from you lady.

He pushy I can totally empathise the situation! But I feel it is the parents who play the major part helping the children! With Me being gifted with such wondeful parents, found a real friend with my sis on whom I can count on!
