The Thought process

How effective is this process? Is it a controllable process or a uncontrollable process If at all it is a controlled process... Why aren’t we able to wipe out the vices…? Assuming vices take root in thoughts and then in actions .Incase intensions are indeed a subset of thought! Then why isn’t there purity in intensions! .why aren’t we able to control them
Why is the following reaction so disastrous!! ?

My thoughts + my actions ---> Consequences + (latent products like disappointments in others)
Why is it, we find a strain of Animal characteristics in all of us? The degree of predominance of that strain varies invariably though!

Assuming that the thought process as a Uncontrollable process!

Y in first place is it uncontrollable? Are we slaves of our thoughts! Isn’t it obsolete to say that we have the sixth sense!

If at all thought process is going to be so uncontrollable... Then why blame/praise anyone for whatever they do. After all... They don’t have a say over their thoughts!
Its their thoughts that direct them!

Oops! What have typed in!
Now don’t blame me... Blame my thoughts!

Thought process is not so uncontrollable... we certainly have some control over over thoughts(and inturn our actions!!)

Let's consider that someone just abused you - for the first few seconds you are angry, your thought is not controlled by your conscious mind but by your ‘sub-conscious’ mind. Later when the conscious mind takes over.... we can control our thoughts(& inturn actions!!)

But sometimes the animal instinct in us takes over!! then we don't have control over our thoughts!

certainly, this comment is a conscious effort!!
